KEC school partners
Founded in 2004, we are a well-established group of 23 excellent schools in the Birmingham area. The strength of our partnership lies in its diversity, longevity and experience - a mixture of comprehensive, selective, independent, mixed, single-sex, 11-16 and 11-18 schools.
We know our schools and trainees really well. When selecting a main placement school we take great care to ensure that you have a good journey to work. We take into account your travel arrangements, as well as ensuring that you are placed in an excellent subject department.
One week after receiving a KEC offer, your main placement school will be confirmed. This is a distinct advantage because you are welcome to visit the school prior to making a decision about accepting your offer.

I think it is great that we are fully immersed into our schools and are able to feel like a member of staff rather than a temporary guest.
